Companies are turning into mobile apps.

This recent article published on 1 July 2014 is about companies turning into mobile applications to search for top talents. According to recent study, it shows that a staggering 45% of applicants now apply for jobs on mobile devices. A good number of companies nowadays make use of social networking websites to place job openings at the same time as the more innovative ones also control social media to assemble networks of people interested in the company that might revolve into prospective high-quality workforce.
The statement also implies that organizations can now CONTROL huge data tools from retailers such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media applications. Information Technology Company HCL Technologies also now interview candidates through a video based interview and later accessing them.
A manager in HTC, Naveen Narayanan, global head  talent acquisition at HCL Technologies stated that "We also make sure that we are available for conversation and engagement with the potential candidate on FB, Twitter and Glassdoor,"
In my opinion, this method is fast and efficient but may lack the judgement in hiring candidates. People applying for job through social media is fast and easy but at the same time companies need more than just a resume. Work ethnic and personality are as equal as the quality of paper. Thus, it has it ups and downs and it really depends on the preference of the company.
